Trip to Bengkulu

It was 3 pm when we arrived in Muara Aman, Bengkulu. It took five hours trip from the airport. Very tired and starving, we went around looking for a restaurant, but there are not many choices. Muara Aman is not a big city. Very quite. But I love the fresh air and the humble people.

In three days, we were visited many places. Everything is okay until we saw a sub-district called Pinang Belapis. Almost three-quarters of the road is unpaved. Fortunately, we went there in the summer. I cannot imagine how bad it is in the rainy season.  Besides all of the busy things, there is something I always remember. Ferns are everywhere. Green and beautiful. It was very relaxing.
