Dan sekaraaaang, waktunya siram-siram bunga.

Trip to Bengkulu

It was 3 pm when we arrived in Muara Aman , Bengkulu. It took five hours trip from the airport. Very tired and starving, w e went around looking for a restaurant , but there are not many choices. Muara Aman is not a big city. Very quit e . But I love the fresh air and the humble people. In three days, we were visited many places. Everything is okay until we saw a sub-district called Pinang Belapis . A lmost three-quarters of the road is unpaved. Fortunately , we went there in the summer. I cannot imagine how bad it is in the rainy season .   Besides all of the busy things, there is some thing I always remember. F erns are everywhere . Green and beautiful. It was very relaxing . #April 2018

Catatan Lama

Saya senang menulis, tapi tidak teratur menyimpannya. Malam ini, saya buka buku catatan lama, isinya macam-macam. Ada catatan pengajian, pengeluaran bulanan, catatan seminar, ringkasan artikel, dll. Mungkin dulu waktu mulai menulis, ga mikir ini akan acak adut ga teratur, yang penting diingat dan tulis aja dulu. Pastinya saya berniat salin lagi di buku lainnya, tapi lupa.   Awal 2021 ini, saya mempertanyakan seberapa penting punya buku catatan sementara semua bisa disimpan dalam bentuk elektronik. Ya penting gak penting sih. Kadang-kadang ada yang ribet kalau harus diketik, kayak penurunan rumus, pembuktian teori, dan lain-lain yang kalau di komputer harus buka equation buat nulis. Trus, tulisan tangan itu, kalau dibaca lagi pada beberapa waktu kemudian, kayak ada manis-manisnya gitu. Yah, kayak ada perasaan senang membayangkan oh dulu saya rajin juga ya, oh dulu saya bisa seserius itu ya, oh dulu waktu nulis yang ini saya lagi ngerlirik sesuatu. Buku-buku lama akan tetap saya...

Use the conference as the first drafts of journal publication. Dedicate work time for thinking and writing. Create a concept idea. You have to reply reply reply!! Tips for the conference: Pay attention to the organization of material. Prepare everything. Decide which one to read or not to read. Time your presentation. Read slow and then slower. Be multimodal, use graphics as important as words.
